Michael Woods is a Professor of Health Economics at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), with a research focus on aged care, the health workforce and health funding. He chairs the Editorial Board for biannual reports published by the UTS Ageing Research Collaborative (UARC) and was recently on the Board of the Australian Digital Health Agency. Specializing in policy development, Michael was Deputy Chairman of the Australian Productivity Commission and has been the Presiding Commissioner on several national inquiries, such as Caring for Older Australians and Australia’s Health Workforce.
