Liz Hay is the Director of Economics and Analysis at the NSW Ministry of Health. Prior to that Liz was the Manager of Health Economics and Evaluation at the NSW Health Agency for Clinical Innovation and previously spent over 15 years working in inter-government relation teams. With nearly 30 years’ experience in health having worked in 2 jurisdictions and at local health district level, Liz has expertise in economics, evaluation, measurement health policy and reform, budgeting, commonwealth/state relations and value based health care.
Liz currently oversees the measurement of multiple Value Based Health Care (VBHC) initiatives including Virtual Care, Telestroke and the 13 plus clinical cohorts included in the Leading Better Value Care suite of initiatives.
