Senior Advisor, Department of Finance and Administration, Icelandic Ministry of Health
Guðmann Ólafsson is a senior advisor at the Ministry of Health in Iceland. His background is in industrial and financial analysis, and he holds a Cand Merc degree from Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. Guðmann previously worked in the banking industry, amongst others the Central Bank of Iceland with focus on capital account liberation.
At the Ministry, he is leading in the funding and business operations of hospital services. One of his current projects is organizing the 35th annual Patient Classification Systems International conference set for 27-30 September 2022 in Reykjavik.
