Dr Jason Sutherland is Professor and Interim Director of the Centre for Health Services and Policy Research (CHSPR) at the University of British Columbia's School of Population and Public Health. A leading expert in healthcare systems and policy, Jason also heads the Health Services and Outcomes program at the university’s Centre for Health Evaluation and Outcome Sciences. With an impressive background as a Canadian Harkness Fellow in Clinical Practice and Health Policy, and more recently as Ontario's Provincial Lead on the Value for Money program, Jason’s research expertise lies in funding policies, enhancing cross-continuum care, along with improving healthcare efficiency.
