IHACPA Conference 2023

Julia Conway is currently the Acting Director of Hospital Policy at the Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA), following leadership of IHACPA’s new Aged Care Policy team to launch IHACPA’s first public consultation on aged care costing and pricing. Prior to these roles, Julia worked on the pricing of public hospital services, including leading the development of mental health care pricing and activity based funding under the new Australian Mental Health Care Classification.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and Bachelor of Finance and is passionate about designing pricing models and policies that provide appropriate incentives to drive high quality, efficient and value-based care.
